Our Responsibility to You
At H&S Appliance Outlet, we are committed to your satisfaction. Returning a product can be stressful on customers so we’re here to help you get it right the first time. Our sales associates are available to help you select the right product for your needs and application. We encourage you to take advantage of our expertise before making your purchase. If a return is necessary, your sales associate can help facilitate the return. Policies and procedures for obtaining a return authorization vary based on the reason for return. See below for more information.
Customer’s Responsibility
Our new scratch and dent products may have minimal or no cosmetic damage on the face of the appliance with blemishes that can be hidden/minimized from view. Retail customers are responsible for reviewing scratch & dent units before purchasing, to recognize the appearance of each in their entirety. Buyers are also responsible for making sure items fit in their intended place of installation before making a purchase. No refunds or exchanges will be made for products that don’t fit in the customer’s space.
Our products include a one-year parts and labor manufacturer warranty. The buyer is responsible for registering the product with the manufacturer. It is also the buyer’s responsibility to inspect and test purchased items at the time of delivery.
If your product is defective upon arrival, please notify H&S Appliance Outlet of the problem within 10 days of receiving goods. If you notice a defect after 10 days of receiving goods, please contact the product’s manufacturer directly.
In the event a return is necessary, our 10 day return policy is as follows:
· ITEMS DAMAGED OR ALTERED BY THE CUSTOMER, INCLUDING THOSE WITH ANY SIGNS OF INFESTATION, CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.
· DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS: Please notify H&S Appliance Outlet of the problem within 10 days of receiving goods to request an exchange. All defects must be validated by an H&S Appliance Outlet technician prior to the processing of any return. If no exact replacement model is available, we will offer in-store credit for the approved return toward a different model. We will always work to provide the best value possible, however any difference in product price is the responsibility of the customer. If you notice a defect after 10 days of receiving goods, please contact the product’s manufacturer directly.
· WHAT FACTORY WARRANTIES COVER. Manufacturer’s warranties only cover mechanical failure and not external effects, such as exposure to elements of nature, abuse, infestation, etc. NOTE: Most manufacturers require one service call to diagnose the problem.
· WHAT VOIDS THE WARRANTY AND/OR RETURN POLICY: If item is altered, damaged due to customer negligence, or subject to infestation of any kind, the warranty will be null and void. If the appliance is used for commercial purposes the warranty will AUTOMATICALLY BE VOIDED. Any attempt to fix/repair an appliance VOIDS THE WARRANTY, unless performed by a technician certified by the warranty provider.
· Items must be returned with all components to qualify for an exchange.
· Returns are subject to a re-delivery fee. Restocking fees may be also applicable in any return situation.

Consumer Priority Service - CPS Extended Warranty

Each appliance comes with a one-year factory warranty which must be started using each manufacturer's warranty website.
After the first year, use an extended warranty. Extended warranty is available through CPS, the same third party warranty company used by Lowes. CPS warranty includes parts and labor.
CPS will attempt to fix the appliance first. If it can not be fixed, CPS will replace it. If you don't like the replacement, you will get money back based on the replacement value.
What is not covered under any warranty? Dents, dings, physical damage, cracks and scratches are not covered. Malfunction caused by the customer is not covered. Infestation of any type voids the warranty.
Warranty:
1. Your CPS Warranty is registered at the time of purchase.
2. CPS Warranty can not be Extended, you have the option of a 3 year or 5 year warranty on your unit.
3. Each appliance comes with manufacturer's 12 month Factory Parts and Labor Warranty. Use this warranty in the first year. CPS Warranty does not cover the first year.
4. If there is a problem with the unit in the first year, call the manufacturer's warranty service, they will make a service call. If the appliance can not be fixed, then Step 2 is for the warranty company to replace the unit, then Step 3 is the last step, the warranty company will refund the unit.

Customer's sole & exclusive remedy under this purchase shall be product or replacement under H&S Appliance Outlet store policy. Claims based on implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the shortest period allowed by law. We shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages such as property damage & incidental expenses resulting from customer's use of the appliance.
We are not responsible for any fees between customer and the financial institutions such as SNAP and ACIMA.
